Collateral Nature - Smoky Backbone (2015)

On 24th September Beat Machine Records will release on digital / vinyl “Smoky Backbone”, electronic / jazz crew “Collateral Nature” debut EP.
Moving through smooth jazzy vibes and gently electronic scenarios, the eleventh installment from the milanese electronic label consists in a double EP: the first one will be composed by 4 original tracks ranges from trip hop remembrances to dance floor vibes passing through nu jazz perceptions and UK sound memories, the second one will consist in a 4 remix pack where the original vibes find 4 different junctions. Four remixers, four different stories: from Yellowtail “deep’n’majestic” future break remix of “Tribal Tattoo” to Black Acre affiliate H-SIK footwork / jungle remix of “The Sound Of the Jump” passing through “One” revisited by the nu hip hop vision of Wandl (Affine Records) and the splendid “Smoky Backbone” version made by Tru Thoughts / Brownswood protégée Werkha, the second part of “Smoky Backbone” will be an Hymn to creativity.
A great debut for a very interesting italian project: follow Collateral Nature, this “Smoky Backbone EP” will be the starting point of a great history. Out on Beat Machine Records, digital / Vinyl, 24.09.2015!
