Yuuko Shibuya - Pop Lady II (2016)

As the title suggests, ``POP LADY II'' is an extension of the first album, and Seo's sensibilities, which he inherited from Jun Sato and Hiroki Inui, probably fit well with it. The lineup includes a variety of styles, including Japanese boogie that you wouldn't expect from a folk background, dynamic city soul, wet adult love ballads, percussion-heavy groovy bossa, and light pop tunes. Even if it's a simple folk ballad, the vibraphone is skillfully used to keep you from getting bored. Meanwhile, French singer-songwriter Jean-Jacques Duveau's Japanese cover has been made into a single with an ennui bossa arrangement. Sylvie Vartan's remake of ``Last Tango of Dreams'' also played a role in promoting Yuko's charm. It is also worth noting that Seo, who has previously released solo works, sings the chorus with Achikochi.
