Eli - Chained to a Dream (Reissue) (1978/2023)

1970s-1980s hard rock band from Florida.

Here we have this Tallahassee, Florida band’s debut album, which is chocked full of period progressive AOR, pomp and melodic rock sounds. They cover a lot of ground however keep things entertaining. You get the feeling these guys had lot's of ideas and creativity and were anxious to get into the studio and get them on the wax. Supposedly they opened for Kiss which gave them exposure. They made a follow up album a few years later. An engaging set of underground private progressive late 1970's AOR with pomp and hard rock sensibilities thrown about.
