Quinteto Coda - Música Chilena Del Siglo XX Para Quinteto De Vientos (2024)

Thanks to the Music Fund in the Phonographic Record Production line, which the Coda Quintet was awarded in 2020, this group made a quality recording of the following 20th century Chilean works for woodwind quintet:
- Quintet No. 1 by Darwin Vargas
- Quintet by Miguel Letelier
- Quintet by Eduardo Maturana
- Partita for another Time by Sergio Ortega

The scores of these compositions were rescued by the same group at the level in a previous project that also had the support of competitive public funds from the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage in 2018, thus allowing them to be recorded in audio two years later. . To date, there were no accessible phonographic records of these works and this project also specified the recording of these pieces in digital formats and platforms in order to rescue and disseminate them, making them accessible to the community.

The five members of the quintet, Natalia Martorell (flute), Roberto Morales (oboe), Victor Coba (clarinet), Jorge Espinoza (horn) and Mitzi Ojeda (bassoon) will release the album that contains this musical rescue under the title “Chilean Music of the 20th century for Wind Quintet”.
