Nicknamed "El Troglodita" due to his wild interpretations, Enrique Tellería (known as Jean Paul) was one of the most popular Peruvian singers from the late sixties to the mid-seventies. "Vudú", recorded in 1972 for Discos MAG, is his second album and features the magnificent Laghonia as a backing group. His music, impeccable horn arrangements and Jean Paul's impressive playing make this LP a spectacular mix of hard psych and Latin soul/funk.
