Expressing the double feelings of immigration and all the good and bad things that come along with it, bassist Marcel Bonfim presents his debut album Farewell (Despedida). Born and raised in Brazil, but rooted in Chicago since 2015, Marcel Bonfim showcases unique textures and
sounds that invite the listener to experiment and feel the duality of each sensation and feeling as he demonstrates his influences from Jazz to Brazilian popular music.
