Alberto Parmegiani is one on the finest guitarist of the Italian Jazz scene. Andrea Biondi is a skilful vibraphone player with a wide discography behind him. The interplay between these two musicians in one of the reasons why the Afro-American lexicon continues to fascinate jazz lovers. Riccardo Gambatesa a young drummer, who’s also already a teacher, is starting to be recognized in the jazz scene. Davide Peluso, the double bass player and leader of the quartet, achieves with this project the synthesis of his music concept. A mixture of swing, blues and a certain type of rhythmic approach blent with balance and elegance.
In other words is jazz with all its classical features that these musicians show to know very well. Listen to this little gem to realize it.
