Barry Elmes - Night Flight (2024) [Hi-Res]

Night Flight is a new release by drummer-composer Barry Elmes. It features his award-winning quintet performing one original composition plus arrangements of eight jazz tunes by various iconic composers and artists that were influential in Elmes’ long career, including Charles Mingus, Charlie Haden, Cedar Walton, Keith Jarrett, Bill Evans, Hank Mobley.

As Elmes states: “Each of these songs left a deep impression on me and this album serves as both a tribute to the composers and an opportunity to present new arrangements of their music.”
