The tenderness that accompanies a lonely heart and the cry of a frenzied soul - the long-awaited new Schubert series, the seventh installment of the first "BIJIN CLASSICAL" series. Medjieva's new Schubert series is now underway. The first program is a combination of the "Improvisations (Op. 90)," re-recorded for the first time in almost ten years, and the first recording of the A minor Sonata (D537) and a collection of dances. The dances are based on selections by Marija Grinberg, a senior Russian composer, and were newly created by the performers. The rich sound of the 1922 New York Steinway is also a highlight of the program.
