Evita Polidoro - NEROVIVO (2024) [Hi-Res]

Evita Polidoro is an eclectic drummer and singer comfortable in both jazz (a member of Enrico Rava's "Fearless Five" quintet, Dee Dee Bridgewater's European quartet, among other collaborations) and rock/pop (toured with Francesca Michielin). She is the founder of the new Roman band COME ON, DIE releasing its first two singles on January 26. "Nerovivo" marks her debut as a leader, set to be released on February 16 by Paolo Fresu's Tuk Music. The trio, consisting of Evita Polidoro, Nicolò Faraglia, and Davide Strangio, produces a sound blending post-rock, ambient electronics, and a touch of experimental jazz contamination.
