Niklas Aman - The Longest Summer (2024) [Hi-Res]

New album “The Longest Summer” will be released on Fri 8 March. Featuring 11 evocative and dreamy instrumentals, played on acoustic guitars, piano and synths. The intro track was made as a tribute to my wife and wedding back in 1997, previously unreleased, recorded on tape. Most of the other tracks was exclusively available in the previous B2B music catalogue. You’re most welcome to return on Fri 8 March.

Niklas Aman is an electronic musician based in Stockholm. Having done mostly bespoke work to films and production music in the past, his song Wings got placed in the intro to movie Meet Bill (2007) - which raised a lot of interest and was the main reason to release a first album back in 2008 also named Wings. 
 He started his own label Brusbox Music in 2010 and has since then released albums on a regular basis. In parallel he also makes production music for other publishers. 
 Niklas likes to add guitars, synths, piano, bass and various percussion to his sound palette. Often arrangements are built around polyrhythmic patterns, an evolving background atmosphere and a simple melody or improvisation on top. Sometimes there's a build involved, other times just staying in a certain mood with small variations. This can for example be heard on the recent albums Afternoony, In Orbit and Lake Themes.
