Rae Sremmurd - SremmLife (2015)

Atlanta-based rap duo Rae Sremmurd appeared on Mike WiLL Made It's late 2013 mixtape Mike Will Been Trill with "We," a scraping, lashing party track. While the name could have been read as a backward-spelled alias for Mike WiLL's songwriting and production syndicate EarDrummers, Rae Sremmurd turned out to be two young and exuberant rappers, Swae Lee and Slim Jimmy, who were born in California and raised in Tupelo, Mississippi. The following February, the track was issued as a single through Mike WiLL's Made-It Mafia label. "No Flex Zone," a rowdier cut, arrived three months later, as the EP Sremm Life stood on deck.
