German vocalist Jutta Weinhold was born in 1952 and began her musical career in 1974 together with producer Udo Lindenberg. Then she released two albums on Teldec - “Coming” 1975 and “Jutta Weinhold” 1977.
In 1982, she became a member of the Breslau group, which was created by the German guitar virtuoso Alex Parche (About this guitarist, for your information, it must be said that he released three solo albums - “The Alex Parche band” (1992), “Son of a healer "(1993), "Prohibido el paso" (1994). All the songs on these albums are sung by different vocalists and, most interestingly, several songs are sung by Udo Dirckscnider, but there is no information about this anywhere in the encyclopedias, on the Accept and Udo websites ). Breslau recorded only one German-language album, entitled "Volksmusic".
The group broke up in 1983 - they were accused of promoting the idea of the Greater German Reich, because The name of the group is taken from the name of a German city, which after the Second World War became part of Poland and was renamed. Breslau's music is reminiscent of the lightweight Motorhead of the first albums.
After this, in 1985, Jutta, together with bassist nicknamed Tatch, created the group ZED YAGO. The group recorded two cool albums: "From over younger" (1988) and "Pilgrimage" (1989). The lineup on both albums did not change and looked like this: Jutta Weinhold - vocals, Tatch - bass, Bubi The Schmied - drums, Gunnar Heyse - guitar, Jimmy - guitar. The music is simply magnificent, something like “heavy with elements of doom”. The theme of the songs is medieval legends about King Arthur, pirates, etc.
Unfortunately, the group breaks up and Jutta recreates the project in 1991 under a different name - Velvet Viper. The team records two albums - "Velvet Viper" (1991) and "4th quest for fantasy". The music and themes of the songs are absolutely identical to Zed Yago.
make it much larger - Velvet Viper
Velvet Viper

The lineup on the first Velvet Viper album is as follows: Jutta Weinhold - vocals, Franco Zuccaroli - drums, Peter Szigeti - guitar (ex Warlock, Udo), Lars Rats - bass, David Moore - grums.
Peter Szigeti and F. Zuccaroli were no longer on the second album. They didn’t hire a new guitarist, but Bubi the Schmied sat on the drums, i.e. The four of us have already recorded the album.
In 1993, the group broke up and Jutta began preparing a solo album, which was released in 1994 and is called “To be or not...” (the musicians for the recording were from the Czech group Citron).
Then in 1999, Jutta Weinhold and Klaus Henatsch (keyboardist and co-author) released a joint album "In session", where they, in the style of "Rhythm & Blues", perform various cover versions of Jimi Hendrix, Creedanse Clearwater Revival and similar groups; In addition, there are two own songs there. Also working on this album were bassist Peter Pichl and drummer Mathias Liebetruth, both of whom have been playing in the German band Running Wild since 2002.
At the end of 2002, the collection "Zed Yago... From the twilight zone" was released. This is a collection of songs by Zed Yago and Velvet Viper. There are two rare songs that are not on the albums and the only video clip of Zed Yago - "Black bone song".
Now Jutta Weinhold is preparing her new solo album, which promises to be released in 2004.
