Ab und Zu and Trio de Janeiro are well known names in the Norwegian music life. Much of the distinctive character of these bands is due to the voice of Anne-Marie Giørtz. The versatile vocalist has been active since the early 80s. In 2007 she started her own trio with self-written music where she is both singing and playing the piano.
