This entry contains hymns mainly relating to the period from Advent to Passion, whereas the first volume contains mainly hymns from Easter to Trinity. The organ works included in this volume are the "Three Preludes" based on melodies from the Geneva Psalter, and perhaps his best organ work is the "Prelude and Fugue in G Minor".
