Heather Little - By Now (2024)

Heather Little was born in north-central Texas, and grew up around Austin and Dallas and all the music that thrives there. She is the co-writer of “Gunpowder and Lead” and “Me and Charlie Talkin’”, both recorded by Miranda Lambert; Sunny Sweeney’s “Helluva Heart”; and “Minefield,” on Travis Meadows’s album Killin’ Uncle Buzzy. And you can hear more of her songwriting on Lindsey Harding’s album Sound of My Heart (including the title track)!

Heather Little’s own recordings have been few and far between, 2013’s Wings LIke These is her only proper full length release until now. Partnering with the folks at Need To Know Music (producers Brian Brinkerhoff and Frank Swart) has led to an album that Little herself says was “46 years in the making”. Coming out on April 19th of this year, ‘By Now’ is poised to not only bring the brilliance of Little’s songwriting, but also her vulnerable, awe-inspiring vocals and delivery which has drawn comparisons to the likes of Patty Griffin and Lori McKenna.
