Lee Konitz - Wild As Springtime (1997)

Two gifted players join forces together and the result inevitably produces music of consistently superior quality. So, just how did Lee Konitz and Harold Danko come to find themselves in a recording studio in the city's south side of Glasgow? It was the idea of Elliot Meadow whilst Lee was staying in Glasgow at the end of his European tour in 1984 and because he liked the idea of documenting this particular duo. Great interplay and great song choices make this a Konitz classic.
