James Robert Webb - Ride or Die EP (2024)

James Robert Webb has a new EP of 6 songs, Ride or Die, full of rich modern style country vibes. Webb will be releasing a full length album, Weekend Outlaw, this fall as well. As his website bio says, James is a doctor by day and a singer by sundown. We’d put it the other way around: James is a country singer by starlight who sees patients by the light of day. “Gentlemen, Start Your Weekends” sets the stage – catchy and fun, James has a soothing vocal tone as he belts out the inspiration tall, loud and proud. The title track is a Southern blues rock intro to a country song ride “you’re holding on to me /chin resting on my shoulder … it just can’t get any better / ride or die / we’re in this thing forever,” an ode to the power of love.

“Loveside Drifting Cowboy” is a blues rock country groove that’ll have you up on your feet. The whole EP rocks and memorable catchy lines like: “like a dust cloud on a dirt road, where I go trouble follows.” He ain’t ever gonna settle down.
