Buddy Childers was an alumnus of the Stan Kenton Orchestra and one of the most talented trumpet/fluglehorn players I've ever heard. This is his own big band featured here and it is smoking hot! It is a fantastic set and full of swinging, ballad charts that will surely entertain any jazz-big band enthusiast.
