Here is a perfect confirmation of the outstanding qualities of Glauco Venus. After his solo debut in Finland in 1990, the Friulian pianist and composer recorded a calm but confident and continuous escalation, both from an instrumental point of view, as well as from the point of view of composition and planning. The opportunity to easily practice jazz, chamber music and "program" music. Here, his dense, soft poetics, imbued with defiant northernness, finds a way to manifest itself especially richly thanks to the contribution of the "declamatory voices" of Wheeler (flugelhorn and trumpet), Gesing (soprano saxophone) and textures performed by the Pezza string quartet, which expand the palette of an already excellent trio, staffed by Salvatore Maiore on double bass and Roberto Dani on the reels.
