The Whiskey Charmers - Streetlights (2024)

Many fans have found The Whiskey Charmers through the video game “Detroit: Become Human” which has sold more then eight million copies worldwide. The band is working on their fifth full length record, set to release at the end of 2023.

Lawrence Daversa’s melancholy guitar weaves in and out of Carrie Shepard’s strong vocal melodies and simple lyrics, creating a sound that will tug at your heartstrings and give you the feeling of winding down a dusty desert road.

The Charmers have been releasing albums at a steady clip since 2015 and their fifth album releases on June 13th, with a lead single “There’s Black” dropping on April 12th, followed by several short tours to promote the record. In contrast to their often melancholy sound, their social media presence is often hilarious with “on the scene” style reports, Shepard with a microphone in hand, accompanied by a straight-faced Daversa, offering some behind the scenes fun from the road.
