Hans P. Kjorstad - Inn (2026) [Hi-Res]

Norwegian multi-instrumentalist Hans P. Kjorstad, previously known for collaborations with Sam Gendel and Ernst Reijseger, released his album "Inn" on the Phantom Limb record label. Having grown up in Lillehammer playing traditional fiddle, Kjorstad merges his background in traditional folk with elements of jazz and experimental music.

The project operates as a miniature orchestra, blending acoustic string instrumentation with microtonal synthesis, unusual looping techniques, and sonic experimentation. By deconstructing traditional folk structures, the record balances organic acoustic textures with chamber and microtonal soundscapes alongside subtle electronic processing.
