Joseph Decosimo, Luke Richardson and Cleek Schrey are widely regarded as some of the most talented musicians operating in the field of maintaining awareness of American traditional music. Their collaborative album Beehive Cathedral came about in the spring of 2021 when the trio gathered at a cabin in Tennessee with a vast array of traditional instruments from fiddles to a nineteenth-century pump organ. Together, they created this warm, welcoming exploration of American and Appalachian music.
