Colegiales Trío - Madera, cuero y unas campanas (2024) [Hi-Res]

This second work of the Colegiales trio goes even deeper than the debut album ("La paciencia està en nuestros corazones") in the argentinian folk roots. Most of the songs are Adrian's originals but the album also includes a version of a traditional tango "Vida mia" arranged like a Chacarera, and a duo versiòn of "monk's mood" played with piano and peruvian wood box.
The recording opens with a fresh "ballad of the sad yougn man" in 3/4 sung by Laura, Adrian´s eldest daughter. With "La Chango Farias Juarez" Iaies pays tribute to two giants of argentinian popular music: Manolo Juarez & EL Chango Farias Gomez.
