Faizal Mostrixx - Afrosist (2018)

Faizal Mostrixx, a Ugandan producer, dancer, and choreographer, blends traditional African music and modern electronic sounds to create Afrofuturist music. His new album, Mutations (out on Glitterbeat Records), reflects his unique style, influenced by Ugandan heritage, South and East African polyrhythms, modern dancefloor styles, Nile Basin chants and pan-african field recordings. Mostrixx aims to create an intimate yet epic space, pushing the boundaries of contemporary cutting-edge electronic music. For Mostrixx, mutation is life, a creative process that imagines the future and creates a world of Afrofuturism.
