“With these 3 tracks from ’Tree’ I felt there was something closer to the emotional core of the record that might be found. The string recording sessions at Abbey Road were very powerful for me - they are the nearest the music gets to being all performance and no production, the most human part of the sound. So, these remixes are based on that - I have stripped away as many other elements as possible to further expose the heart of the record, the sonic fingerprint, the ink that writes the letter.”
