Former Spinners lead singer and Motown solo artist G.C. Cameron returned to his Mississippi roots in the early '80s, relocating to the state and signing with the Jackson-based company Malaco. This album was unfortunately too Southern, and too rural in its production and sensibility to get any shot on urban contemporary radio stations.
