MÆVEY - RE:VEALED (2024) Hi Res

Mævey is a Liverpool based singer-songwriter hailing from the landscapes of West Wales. Growing up in a large family, she and her sisters were encouraged to nurture their creativity. She has always been curious about the complexities and challenges of life and has used music and writing as a vehicle to explore the vulnerable parts of herself. Working with the live musicians on this recording session has allowed her to experiment more with her vocal performance. Her voice is reminiscent of glamorous figures with the softness and allure of many of the heartbreaking jazz icons that have inspired her music. Mævey’s style of blending elements of jazz, neo-soul, pop and electronica, for a world of dark and atmospheric sensibilities has resulted in RE:VEALED, a preview of her Baltic Jazz debut!
