This set’s first CD compiles a selection of Billie’s incredible ballad performances, while the second is devoted to her medium and up-tempo numbers. CD3 features the singer’s studio versions of her own compositions. Four songs from a series of sessions presenting Billie backed by Ben Webster and Harry “Sweets” Edison (also represented on the first two discs) have been added as a bonus.
