This is a rare vinyl of a very interesting young band, Saint Jacques, forgotten today. It is clear that at the turn of the 60s-70s there were so many bands that only the most talented, the luckiest, or the most impudent managed to "break through". The band itself, and this record, were forgotten - undeservedly. Very cool melody, excellent vocals, variety of songs, transitions from classical psychedelic things to funk and prog, in general - a very interesting disc. An example of non-aggressive, truly hippie melody, near-folk, brass (all this at the same time) and very American in essence folk-psychedelia from New York. Some sources, however, indicate that the team was formed in Canada. Quite a variety of numbers, successful use of reverb on the brass parts and especially the bass. Everything is done in a song format and with pretentious instrumental arrangements.
