Tatsurō Yamashita (山下達郎), occasionally credited as Tatsu Yamashita or Tats Yamashita, born February 4, 1953, is a Japanese singer-songwriter, and record producer. He is known by his musical style deeply influenced by 1960s American pop and rock music. He is particularly successful as a collaborator with Mariya Takeuchi; they married in 1982 and have one daughter.
Tatsuro Yamashita's work on RCA/AIR has been remastered by himself and re-released with handwritten liner notes and song commentary. This is the first release from the AIR label. This is his fourth album, released in October 1979. It contains 13 songs in total, including "Wings of the Night," "Eternal FULL MOON," and three bonus tracks.
