Mac Leaphart has filled his award-winning career with a mix of hook-heavy roots music, honky-tonk rock & roll, and salty, sharply-detailed songwriting. It’s a sound that finds the Nashville-based troubadour nodding to those who've come before him, while also pushing forward into uncharted territory, earning support from a cross-country spread of folk fans and Americana audiences along the way.

Leaphart's Line, Rope, Etc. was named one of the best albums of the year by the Charleston City Paper in 2008. Leaphart relocated to Nashville in 2012, and continues to write, record, and tour from his home base in Music City. His sophomore album, Low in the Saddle, Long in the Tooth was released in February 2015, followed by Lightning Bob, a five-song EP featuring collaborations with Sadler Vaden in 2018. 2021's Music City Joke spent multiple weeks on the Americana & Alt-Country radio charts, & was named one of the best albums of the year by outlets such as Saving Country Music, Pop Matters, and Farce the Music.
