Drawing inspiration from the rare celestial phenomena of dual meteor showers and super moons, this album provides an immersive hypnotic dream, where sound and space intertwine in near hallucinatory harmonics. The opening opus (clocking in at nearly 80 minutes) “Orionids” envelops you in a rich atmospheric soundscape that feels both vast and yet completely intimate. The music is meticulously crafted, with deep, resonant tonality (courtesy of the variety of custom modular design) that pulse like the heartbeat of the universe. The bassline provides a grounding force, anchoring the ethereal, drifting melodies that shimmer like meteor trails across a starlit sky. One of the standout qualities of this album is its use of texture and depth, the pieces are like a 3D sonic landscape coexisting somewhere in the fourth dimension. Each sound world unfolds gradually, with subtle layers revealing themselves over time; much like watching a meteor shower where each streak of light is a new discovery.
