Picaros - Son d'Ermu (2024)

The folk trio composed of Ivan Alvarez (Asturian bagpipes, MIDI bagpipes, whistles and vocals), Daniel de la Nava (guitar) and Chus Fernandez (bodhran) presents ten songs of their own composition combining tradition and modern sounds. Picaros was born in the valleys of Troubia in 2021 with the goal of finding a fresh and vibrant sound through experimentation with sound and fusion of genres. His influences include Asturian and foreign bands such as Flook, Michael McGoldrick, Tejedor or Llan de Cubel. This first album, recorded at TUTU Estudios, is a sample of the musical identity and authenticity that the band wants to reflect.
