ALIZA will take you on a journey through the vibrant cultures of the Mediterranean. Their sound blends Levantine bass, futuristic Middle Eastern Dabke, Moroccan R&B, and fierce electronic beats into a deep, unifying musical experience that’s both rooted in tradition and forward-thinking.

This project is the creation of three longtime friends: Kutiman, known for his genre-blending work in psychedelic jazz, funk, and ambient music; Ouzo Bazooka, a master of Middle Eastern psychedelia and Balkan vibes; and their frequent collaborator Dekel, a key figure in the local funk and soul scene. After shaping the project together, they brought in the mesmerizing vocalist Lala Tamar to complete the group. Tamar’s Moroccan and Latin roots add a unique and enchanting layer to the music, making it truly one-of-a-kind.

Their first single, “All The Way,” is a hypnotic mix of tabla grooves, club-ready 808 beats, dark acid blips, and Tamar’s captivating vocals in Darija (Moroccan Arabic dialect). It’s a track that feels like it’s from another world—one where past and future sounds collide in unexpected ways.
