Lucca Leeloo - Sakamoto (2024)

This album is about searching and how to deal with this life. These are the overarching themes of all the songs on the album. The album title is inspired by one of my sons favorite animes, “Nichijou”, where there’s a talking cat named Sakamoto. And it’s also a tribute to one of my favorite composers, Ryuichi Sakamoto.

I wanted to create a (Sakamoto-san the cat) GIF for every song on the album - GIFs that could frame the theme of every single song. Then I met Bianka Fromm on Fiverr and she could make my ideas come true 🐈‍⬛ You can watch the GIFs on my Instagram and in the new video of Enter the Game on YouTube.

The album is a collaboration with Paolo Gozzetti and Fred Ventura - together they are Italoconnection and on this LP we have worked on further developing the sound of my two previous albums.
