On their second album, noise-rock stalwarts Chris Spencer, former leader of Unsane, and Jim Coleman, guitarist in Cop Shoot Cop, expand the brutally epic scale of Human Impact by recruiting Bad Powers' Eric Cooper on bass, and Daughters' drummer Jon Syverson. With sharper riffs and refined experimental abstraction, the band's noise-rock nihilism becomes triumphant against imminent doom.
