Göteborg Opera Orchestra - Swedish Songs & Operatic Scenes (2024)

Sweden is well-known for it's many great singers, but perhaps less known for it's operas and orchestral songs. Now you have the opportunity to hear a selection of works by both male and female Swedish composers: Hugo Alfven, Elfrida Andree, Ingeborg von Bronsart, Helena Munktell, Laura Netzel, Gosta Nystroem and Ture Rangstrom. On top of everything performed by a Swedish vocal dream team (Kerstin Avemo, Sabina Bisholt, Julia Sporsen, Viktor Johansson, Karl-Magnus Fredriksson) and the Goteborg Opera Orchestra conducted by Patrik Ringborg. World premiere recordings of more than half of the content!
