'Pop! Goes the Jazzle' was recorded entirely in Antigua at Pelican Lodge Studios. This album features Roland Prince and his band--Calypso Val, Clifton Byers, Lester 'Doc' Simon and O'Neil Mason with guest artists Renato Daiello on tenor sax and Hani Hechme on fuzz guitar. The album is a collection of pop jazz compositions, most of them written by Roland Prince. Included on the album is a rerecorded version of Roland Prince's classic, 'Antigua', as he originally wanted it recorded.
