Babani Records and Kréol Art launch Babani Archive, a series dedicated to finding and promoting forgotten musical masterpieces. Unlike the usual focus on Indian Ocean music, this series brings a variety of genres back into the spotlight. The first release is the album Les Îles Du Désert by French musician Loy Erlich. The album is a mixture of smooth jazz and easy listening. Loy Erlich, also known as a member of Carrousel and Hadouk Trio, has worked with renowned musicians such as Didier Malherbe, Alain Peters, Vasis Diop, Ja Pinpin and Sophie Hellborg.
