Francis Grégoire - Prologue (2024) [Hi-Res]

Pianist Francis Gregoire is preparing to present his debut album Prologue, which combines styles of cinematic jazz. He will be performing with his Cinematic Band, with whom they recorded the album. The band includes Gabriel Cyr on guitar, Stéphane Chamberland on drums, Carl Mayotte on bass and Damien-Jade Cyr on saxophone. They will also be joined by Quatuor Crema, made up of musicians from Les Violons du Roy and OSQ, including violinist Inti Manzi, Jean-Michel Marois on viola violin, Annie Maurier on viola and Rachel Baillargeon on cello. Together, these nine musicians will create a cinematic and epic atmosphere, mixing jazz fusion, classical music, movie music and progressive rock. The show promises to be emotionally intense, with powerful compositions, fantasy arrangements, sensual moments and a groovy sound where improvisation, passion and virtuosity of the musicians will take center stage.
