From MAO to JAZZ, the eponymous title "Translation" evokes the shift from digital to organic, from mind to body, from seed to fruit, the idea of ​​a mutation, of a transformation, including the elements of the past and present in the form of a celebration. To tell this story, Gaspard has the idea of ​​creating 2 closely linked albums to evoke translation. Translation MAO and Translation JAZZ: two pieces of almost the same puzzle. We will find the same pieces but treated in a different way. The MAO album, computer-assisted music (synth, samples, drums) and the JAZZ album (acoustics, musicians, interactions, improvisations). Gaspard Guerre is a French musician, composer and producer, born November 11, 1982. Offering fiery music but also perfectly balanced aesthetics and nuances where the expression of improvisation is expected, Gaspard Guerre seduced, in January 2020 , the Tremplin ACTION JAZZ Jury by winning the “Discovery” Prize under the presidency of a certain Jeff Ballard. Since then, the Gaspard Guerre quartet has expanded and lowered its wings.
