"IDDU - Sicilian Letters," released on October 11 in digital and vinyl formats, is the first soundtrack by Colapesce, created for the film IDDU—a Venice Film Festival 2024 entry directed by Fabio Grassadonia and Antonio Piazza. The film stars Elio Germano and Toni Servillo. The music is a blend of traditional and contemporary styles, drawing on Italy's cinematic musical heritage from Ennio Morricone, Egisto Macchi, and Fiorenzo Carpi, while incorporating modern influences like Jon Hassel and Popol Vuh.

Colapesce’s evocative score captures a dark, mystical vision of Sicily, using light and shadow to enhance the atmosphere. Produced by Federico Nardelli, with strings by Davide Rossi, the soundtrack features instrumental tracks and the original song "La Malvagità," which explores humanity’s inherent connection to evil.
