Armelle Pioline, the lead singer of the band Holden, has embarked on numerous musical endeavors throughout her career. Her unique voice has captivated listeners album after album as she has quietly pursued her quest for emancipation. In the latest SuperBravo album, titled "La digue," Pioline collaborates with her long-time partner Michel Peteau, also known as Cheval Fou, an exceptional guitarist and producer. SuperBravo, known for their openness to various techniques such as cutting off, improvisation, blind editing, and the use of samples, has spent the last decade refining their writing style within a distinctive sound system. After four albums, they have managed to establish a distinct "SuperBravo sound," characterized as dream pop that evokes femininity and dreaminess. Armelle Pioline's exquisite songwriting contributes to the repertoire's fluidity and timelessness.
