Emma Augustsson, Dennis Egberth, Pelle Westlin - Orgelrummet (2024) [Hi-Res]

Orgelrummet is Emma Augustsson, Pelle Westlin and Dennis Egberth's second album. Here they want to focus on improvisation and explore the meeting between self-written, baroque and free jazz. The trio's combination of clarinet/saxophone, drums and cello opens up for looser contours and rapid changes in tempo and dynamics. All three contribute their own compositions that are linked to slightly different places and musical traditions. As on their debut album Luftrummet, Bach is given a corner, but Handel is also interpreted and shimmering sounds will emerge. The trio is once again joined by Anton Svanberg, but this time on church organ, who has contributed both a strong lower voice and an improvisational element to the album. The music was recorded during 2 rainy days in the summer of 2021 in Hamburgsund church, in northern Bohuslän.
