Illa J, Ash Walker - Off Days in London (2024) [Hi-Res]

The Off Days in London EP was created by Illa J and Ash Walker as a result of a chance meeting in London in 2023. In between interviews and commercials, they recorded 4 tracks combining elements of hip hop and jazz. This EP offers a refreshing take on the music and leaves the listener wanting to hear a full-length project from the pair. They are united not only by music, but also by common interests such as food and musical inspiration. Their collaboration has resulted in a unique sound. The EP was made possible through 96 hours of organic collaboration, which began with a casual brunch organized by keyboardist Abram Al. “Off Days in London” is truly music worth listening to.
