Stéphane Guillaume - Intra-Muros (2006)

Despite his strict Californian demeanor, Stéphane Guillaume displays nothing in common with the West Coast school, except this curious habit of readily alternating saxophones, flute and clarinets, depending on the contexts he is confronted with. A former student of François Jeanneau, trained behind a desk in the National Jazz Orchestra (under the direction of Laurent Cugny), he quickly learned to play leading roles with a certain conviction, as this CD (his second) attests, opportunity to display all his virtuosity.
