Thank - I Have A Physical Body That Can Be Harmed (2024) [Hi-Res]

Rock band Thank From Leeds, descended from DIY collective CHUNK, have released their second album 'I Have A Physical Body That Can Be Harmed'. The band held a December residency in Scarborough, where they recorded the album with producer Rob Slater. The band members note that it was strange to return to Scarborough as all the places associated with the band's past were gone. The album continues the themes of sex, death and social media, but more hopeful and positive elements also appear. Thank have signed to the Big Scary Monsters label and are also planning a slew of shows in the UK and Europe. “I Have A Physical Body That Can Be Harmed” is a combination of the band's early ferocity with the ambitious arrangements and electronic experimentation of their later work. The album combines elements of hardware techno, jungle, synth-pop and anarcho-punk.
