"Love Is... Infinite" is the debut album of Dallas soul artist Gypsy Mitchell. Born in 1952, he co-founded the legendary group The Relatives in 1970. After that, he spent decades performing on the Chitlin’ Circuit, playing guitar alongside R&B and funk stars such as Buddy Ace, Johnnie Taylor, The Bar-Kays, and Joe Simon.

His voice evokes Bobby Womack and Darondo, while his guitar style resembles Nile Rodgers and Ernie Isley. However, this is not just a retro album—it is a collection of 10 deeply personal songs blending vintage, modern, and cosmic sounds. Guests include Houston rapper Paul Wall, Hi Rhythm keyboardist Archie Turner, and arranger Pete Lanctot (Aaron Frazer, Durand Jones & the Indications).

The album was produced by Zach Ernst and Matthew Strmiska (Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears). It combines vintage soul with modern psychedelic and breakbeat influences. Its strength lies in sincere songwriting and genuine musicality, free from calculation or cynicism.
