Fredi's Jazz Band was born in 2013 as an instrumental formation of the Frederic Mompou Municipal School of Music in Matadepera, with the intention of enjoying this universal language that is music, to share it, to know how to work as a team and make us grow as people. Being in touch with this unique force brings us all together.
Fredi 's Jazz Band is a project born from the school as a group subject for wind instruments. It was not something premeditated or planned from the beginning, quite the opposite, along the way we have been finding and building together, and here we are! We also don't know where we're going to end up, which I think is in our favor because you don't get hold of anything, you just enjoy every moment to the fullest. As long as we are here and now together, and have enthusiasm, we will learn music, but also to share, to be ourselves, and ultimately... to be people.
